WordPress theme system close-up
It has been some time since my last post, I have been a little pressed on time and really havn’t had anything worth writing about. I’m on holiday now and have spent most of my time on three projects; the Intranet I have made for my employer, a handbook in swedish on how to use the Gimp and somewhat on this site. Oh, and I went to Denmark and lost my wallet, methinks it was a bad case of pick-pocketing. That sucked.
On to more fun things then. I recently stumbled upon this series of articles that outline the themeing system in WordPress. It was quite good actually, probably not for the already experienced WordPress user, but if you are new to WordPress or havn’t dabbled in themeing or design, it’s a good read. It covers some general design topics as well, apart from the strict theme engine code and workings.
