Late October last year my girlfriend and I bought tickets to a Monster Magnet appearance in Malmoe at Kulturbolaget. The show was supposed to be last friday(24/3). Guess what?! It was cancelled. We drove 13 metric miles there stressed out of our gords, ate at Burger King, found a parkingspace rushed to the concert only to find it completely deserted. We had to go to the pub next door(Vinylbaren) to find out that Monster Magnet had discontinued their entire tour because the lead singer was ill.

Well we had no other option than to drive 13 miles back home without the pleasure of seeing the long awaited band performance, instead feeling like total flaming idiots since everyone else seemed to know but us. The bartender at Vinylbaren said that KB had phoned everyone that had bought tickets though, guess I was out when they called.

Longest drive I’ve ever taken to eat at Burger King and have a beer.
